"State of the Domains" Report - Third Publication from the Domain Name Association
The Domain Name Association (DNA), the new non-profit global business association that represents the interests of the domain name industry, has just published their latest "State of the Domains" report. It includes excellent statistics on domain names and analysis from from key stakeholders.

HEXONET has seen very strong interest, including many EOIs and inquiries, for the imminent launch of .CLOUD The .CLOUD registry operator, Aruba PEC SpA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Italian hosting giant Aruba.it, has just announced that they will be giving away 100 free .CLOUD domains as part of its pioneer program. Those eligible trademark owners who have a marketing plan, a brand-match domain, and can have a live website ready by the end of September will be considered for these free domain names.
